IRL is short for in real life: a live stream shot away from a desk, on a phone or a camera fed through a mobile encoder over cellular. Outdoor IRL, travel and food streams are the same format, and the limits are always battery and uplink rather than a computer.
Just Chatting is Twitch's category for a stream with no game and no activity beyond the streamer talking to chat, reacting to something on screen or taking calls. It is one of the largest categories on the platform, and it is where most IRL streamers sit when they are indoors.
Twitch, Kick and YouTube all carry IRL. Mobile streams are often sent to more than one destination at once, because a cellular drop that kills the feed on one platform does not necessarily take the others with it.
